The place I’m introducing today is a hot restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City District 2, Thao Dien, called “I HATE MONDAY”.

오늘 소개할 곳은 핫하다 못해 뜨거운 호치민 2군 타오디엔의 맛집 “I HATE MONDAY”입니다.
The exterior looks like a rough place that can be easily seen in Seongsu-dong, Hongdae, Itaewon, etc. in Seoul.
The food was really unique, just like the unique exterior.
Fortunately, my group made a reservation that day, so we were able to get in without waiting. (I think you can eat comfortably without a reservation during the late lunch hours on weekdays)
Later, when we went after 2pm on a weekend, there was a 20-minute wait.

외관에서 보이는 모습이 서울의 성수동, 홍대, 이태원 등에서 쉽게 볼 수 있는 러프한 느낌이 돋보입니다.
개성 넘치는 외관답게 음식도 정말 독특하더라구요~~
이 날 다행히 일행이 예약을 해줘서 웨이팅 없이 들어갈 수 있었어요. (평일 늦은 점심시간에는 예약 없이도 편하게 드실 수 있을 것 같아요)
나중에 주말 오후 2시 이후에 갔더니 20분 정도 웨이팅이 있더라구요…
The interior is hip and rough, with an attractive exposed interior.
Just looking at the different chairs, you can feel that the owner put a lot of thought into it.
I personally really enjoyed it.

실내는 힙하면서도 러프한 노출식 인테리어가 매력적으로 다가옵니다.
각기 다른 의자들만 봐도 사장님이 많은 고민을 했다는 게 느껴지더라구요.
저는 개인적으로 정말 재미있고 좋았어요~

넓은 테이블로 예약했기 때문에 2층으로 안내받고 올라갔어요~
“I HATE MONDAY”라는 글씨는 모든 직장인들의 공통된 마음을 대변하는 것 같아요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
There are seats for 6 people and a separate group room~
There were chairs that I used to see in reading rooms.
The table legs are really thick.

이걸 보면 사장님이 한국 분인 것 같아요~
하지만 메뉴에는 한국어가 없어요~!

The oil dressing has a sour taste that makes it taste good~

정말 맛있었어요~!!
This is potato fritters.
They are lightly crushed potato fritters and fried as is, and they are quite tasty.
They are super crunchy, like a snack~!
If you go with a group, I recommend ordering one~

이건 알감자 튀김.
알감자를 살짝 부숴서 그대로 튀긴 건데 나름 맛있었습니다.
과자처럼 엄청 바삭바삭해요~!
여럿이서 가면 하나쯤 주문하는 걸 추천해요~

It’s a food that is fried with breadcrumbs on risotto or fried rice.
It had squid ink risotto inside.
The crispy batter and the tomato sauce underneath went well together.
However, this is a pity to just enjoy it as a side dish~ I think it would be good to order it!

아란치니~
리조토나 볶음밥에 빵가루를 입혀 튀긴 음식이에요.
안에는 먹물 리조토가 들어있더라구요.
바삭한 튀김옷과 밑에 깔린 토마토 소스가 나름 잘 어울렸어요.
하지만 이건 그냥 사이드로 간단하게 즐기기에는 아쉬운 느낌이네요~ 주문하시면 좋을 것 같아요!
Pistachio Cream Pasta.
The cream sauce made with rich pistachios was very impressive.
I highly recommend it to those who like cream sauce pasta.
It was rich and creamy, so I personally really enjoyed it~

진한 피스타치오로 만든 크림 소스가 아주 인상적이었어요.
크림 소스 파스타를 좋아하시는 분들에게 강력 추천합니다.
고소하면서 크리미해서 개인적으로 정말 맛있게 먹었어요~
Squid pasta.
This is pasta with a whole small squid on top.
It was really delicious~
The combination of stir-fried squid and oil pasta is superb.
Not only Koreans, but Vietnamese people also really enjoyed it~
This is the best pasta I’ve had in Ho Chi Minh~!!
If you visit here, I highly recommend ordering this.

오징어 파스타.
작은 오징어 한 마리가 통째로 올라간 파스타입니다.
정말 맛있더라구요~
오징어 볶음과 오일 파스타의 조화가 일품이에요.
한국 분들뿐만 아니라 베트남 사람들도 정말 맛있게 먹더라구요~
호치민에서 먹어본 파스타 중에서는 이게 1등이에요~!!
여기 방문하신다면 이건 무조건 주문하시는 걸 강추합니다.

Ugly chocolate mousse cake.
The taste is like a brownie with whipped cream added, so it tastes really fattening.
I recommend eating this through SNS~!!
